Siddhant Gumber : Youngest to identify the top 100 tallest buildings of the world

New Delhi: Siddhant Gumber from Abu Dhabi, UAE, has set up an unique world record. The record for being the youngest to identify the top 100 tallest buildings of the world along with their respective heights and locations was set by this talented boy (born on July 19, 2008), who hails from Ambala, Haryana. He has been living in Abu Dhabi these days.

He identified the top 100 tallest buildings, and stated the height and location of each building, including Burj Khalifa and Shanghai Tower, in 7 minutes and 24 seconds, at the young age of 12 years, 3 months, and 14 days, as confirmed on November 2nd, 2020 by the team India Book of Records (IBR).

What prompted this young boy to set this record? Comes a prompt reply from Siddhant – “I have always been interested in buildings and have been told that I  have an amazing memory. I wanted to create a record that could showcase my passion for buildings as well as related facts and figures.”

How much time did you practise for this achievement ? Just 10 days. However, he found some roadblocks too in the process of learning. Some building names were hard to pronounce and the images tough to recall as they looked exactly same, but with smart practice, the feat could be achieved.

Memorizing the architectural height in meters was another challenge he faced. But the news of making the record finally was a great news, which made everyone happy in my family. “I felt on top of Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, when I got this news.” His message to the world is – “No matter how short you are, stand tall.” BlogsWire
